Nathan Jones, Chief Investment Strategist & Chief Investment Officer
Mr. Jones is a principal, co-founder, and member of the USDR Investment Committee. He serves as the firm's Chief Investment Strategist and as Co-Portfolio Manager of all USDR funds. Mr. Jones' expertise in bankruptcy law commenced with Luce, Forward, Hamilton, and Scripps, where he specialized in their bankruptcy practice, representing debtors and creditors. He later co-founded a boutique bankruptcy practice, O'Halloran & Jones. Based upon his experienced knowledge of bankruptcy law and finance, he co-founded Debt Acquisition Company of America (DACA). He was involved in over 500 cases as a financial investor where the funds achieved superior returns. In 2008 Mr. Jones co-founded USDR Investment Management. He has a JD from the University of Michigan Law School and received an S.M. in Management with emphasis in finance from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He also has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from General Motors Institute. Mr. Jones is an active member of the state bar of California in good standing, and has been an active member of the American Bankruptcy Institute since 1981.
